Claire Richards, known to many as a member of chart topping group Steps, headlines tonight’s “Live on the Links”, as part of the 64th Peterhead Scottish Week.
Peterhead Scottish Week, the biggest and longest running weeklong gala in the country is back for the 64th edition, from Saturday 18th July to Sunday 26th July. This year the committee have been hard at work putting together a packed programme with over 60 events for the nine day festival.
The 63rd ‘Peterhead Scottish Week’ is set to be one that will leave a lasting impression in the memories of locals and visitors to the Bloo Toon. A packed programme sees over 50 events between Saturday 12th July to Sunday 20th July; including a North East first – a drone lights show!
The dates for next year’s ‘Peterhead Scottish Week’ have just been announced – AND are earlier than usual. The event will run for nine days next July but the dates have been brought forward compared to the traditional ‘third Saturday in July’ start date.
Large queues lined along Windmill Street in Peterhead last night, as the first batch of tickets for this year’s “Live on the Links” went on sale. Despite gloomy skies overhead, the crowd were in buoyant mood as doors to Coast Radio opened at 6:00pm at the start of ticket sales.
The organising committee of ‘Peterhead Scottish Week’ are proud to host the sixth edition of the “Best of Buchan Awards” in association with Buchan Offshore Wind, on Saturday 27th July in the ballroom of the town’s Palace Hotel.
The team behind ‘Peterhead Scottish Week’ are delighted to announce the return of “Live on the Links”. Tonight [21:00 27-06-2024] the full line up of acts confirmed for the event were unveiled, with one act in particular being known as the voice of a generation.
Peterhead Scottish Week has announced the return of the ‘Best of Buchan Awards’, in association with Buchan Offshore Wind. The awards first began in 2016, and highlight the often unsung heroes within the community. The event ran for four years but was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
